Star the tracks you keep coming back to, then group them into playlists that mix genres and tempos — so a practice session is one tap away instead of a search through categories.
Tap the star on any track to favorite it, and pull up your full favorites list from the main menu. Create named playlists that pull tracks from any genre or tempo — a warm-up playlist, a lesson's worth of tracks, or a set for a specific gig — and play straight through them.
Every track has a star icon, on its row in a category list and on its own player screen. Tap it once and that track shows up in a dedicated Favorites view, filtered out from the rest of your library. It's the fastest way back to the handful of tracks you actually practice to most, without re-navigating genre and tempo every time.
A playlist in Drum Lab is just a named group of tracks you pick yourself, and it isn't limited to one genre — mix a jazz ballad for a slow warm-up with a funk groove and an odd-meter track for the rest of the session, in whatever order you want to work through them. Playlists live on your device and are there the next time you open the app, so a session you've built once doesn't need rebuilding.
Tap the star icon on any track's player screen or track row. Favorited tracks show up in their own filtered list so you can get back to them without scrolling through every category.
Yes. Playlists are just a named group of tracks you choose, so you can mix a jazz ballad, a funk groove, and an odd-meter track in the same playlist if that's what a given practice session needs.
