Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Drum Lab uses Firebase Analytics (Google) and the Meta/Facebook SDK to understand which practice tracks are most popular and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These services collect app usage data (which tracks you play, favorite, download, or add to a playlist; whether Practice Mode or the metronome is turned on) and purchase events (which product was bought, at what price). This data is tied to your device, not to your name or any personal profile.

Drum Lab does not currently request advertising-tracking permission, so no advertising identifier (such as the IDFA) is currently collected. If that changes in the future, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt will ask for your explicit permission first, and this policy will be updated to reflect it.

This data is shared with Google and Meta and is used to improve the app and, where you've given permission, to show more relevant advertising. You can opt out of ad tracking at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

We do not collect your name, precise location, or any information you don't provide to us directly. Drum Lab does not require an account to use the free tier of the app.

Purchases

Drum Lab purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. We do not directly collect or store your payment information — that's handled entirely by Apple.

This is a starting draft, not a substitute for legal review — have an actual lawyer look this over before you rely on it, especially before submitting to markets outside the US (GDPR/CCPA-style requirements add more specifics).
